I’m Brigid. I’m a photographer, a violinist, a writer, and a composer. And a lesbian.
I just moved back to the Pacific Northwest, after a 5 year hiatus. So far I have no house, no job, and very few friends left here. The one thing that I do have here is family. …..And they’re struggling to come to terms with my lifestyle and sexuality now that they have to confront it in their everyday lives.
So I’m pretty thoroughly starting over.
I’ve been photoblogging over at flickr but lately my photos have included a whole mess of text.
I guess it’s time to acknowledge I have something to say in words as well as images.

I was going to comment on your latest post about Sarah Palin, with which I agree wholeheartedly, but this seemed more personal. You really captured my thoughts on the issue, and although I’m not American I found it an empowering read.

I ran into your Blog today and stuck around because I was interested in your comments on Palin’s candidacy and like Nicola, I meant to leave a message there, but then I noticed you have just started this Blog and that you’re a photographer such as myself, so I visited your photostream as well. You have some truly great photos there, I loved it.
